The team focus is on the detailed design and specification of transmission and distribution infrastructure at voltages up to 400kV. This includes overhead lines, detailed substation design and cabling, and associated civil works. It stretches back to network planning and simulation, and forward to project management of construction projects to the delivery and commissioning of network plant and equipment. The design office is supported a CAD team and utilises the full range of software tools.
