BPI team furthers its capability in LV cable design

Wednesday, February 1 2017

Following a recent training session, members of our design team are now skilled in the use of WinDEBUT software, thus expanding their skills and furthering our capability in LV cable design for our various clients.

The software gives the optimum size of the cables based on the load curves calculated for various commercial and residential applications.  It calculates the volt drop, cable loop impedance and fuse sizing in order to select the most suitable cable.  With this software, our in-house design capability to design LV mains cable systems with distributed services cables in line with DNO LV design practice is further improved.
