Paul joined BPI from WS Atkins where he was Head of Network Studies and Offshore Transmission. His career has included time with Brush, Seeboard, PB Power and Econnect; he has also been Managing Director of an energy sector business. Clear about the future direction of BPI, Paul believes that the company s past experience and considerable success within the UK and internationally will be the key to new opportunities and growth with clients in the energy sector. The next 20 years show significant growth for the energy sector as the re-wiring of the UK takes place to include renewables and new nuclear generation and the implementation of smart grids. </p> </div> <div id="floatrightpics" class="PaulG"></div> <div id="break"></div> <div id="content_right_management" class="JohnR_t"> <br /> <p><b>John Rimell, Business Development </b> <br /> John is responsible for growing the business, ensuring that we continue to offer design and consulting products and services that meet  and wherever possible exceed  customers needs. In this capacity, John will lead on realising BPI s ambitious growth plans. Enjoying a successful career as a power engineer, manager and executive with Eastern Electricity and TXU Europe, he has an in depth understanding of the UK industry; the technical and operational environment, regulatory framework, and the market conditions. As Head of Network Asset Management at Eastern, John was responsible for the development of asset management strategy and policy and for an average annual investment expenditure of £100 million. John has been responsible for business and commercial development since joining BPI in 2004. With a background in financial and commercial management he has expertise in the areas of financial due diligence, project appraisal, M&A, financial modelling, commercial transactions and process improvement. He also brings to the role broad international experience, having worked in Asia, Africa and the USA. Joining BPI in 2006, he was appointed to head the Consultancy group in the spring of 2011. In this capacity he has responsibility for managing the portfolio of advisory and consulting assignments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Examples of projects can be found <a href="casestudies/international_case_studies.html">here</a>. </p> <p><b>Adam Wright, Design</b> <br /> A qualified electrical engineer, Adam has a background in quality management and process improvement, having built an early career in the UK aerospace industry. He joined BPI in 2009 from Raytheon Systems where he was senior quality assurance engineer. Adam is responsible for leading BPI s team of engineers and designers, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently; design and technical projects are managed to the highest standards and technical services delivered to time, quality, safety and cost. More about some of the engineers, designers and other professionals may be found <a href="casestudies/bpi_engineers.html">here</a>. </p> <p><b>Natalie Brown, Finance and Administration</b><br /> Natalie joined BPI in 2011 as Head of Finance and Administration and is responsible for the provision of finance, HR, administrative and other support services to the business. She joined from Sodexo Ltd where she was Commercial Finance Manager. Natalie has worked in a range of financial roles in the facilities management, banking, power systems and the public sector and has particular experience in accounting and business systems implementation. Although focussing primarily on financial control of the business, Natalie and her team will provide the central point of contact for contractors, suppliers, agencies and customers finance teams.
