followed by developing a business plan and its later implementation for
the Transmission Company of Nigeria (completion scheduled during 2007).

distinct but interrelated studies: (a) a review of the resilience of the
transmission and distribution companies should they be required to cope
with a major natural or man-made disaster; and (b) a study of the
comparative performance of distribution network operators in response to
the major storms of autumn 2002. Both studies were published by the
Government for public consultation and can be found on www.dti.gov.uk
